Final Installment on Then the fight started.....

Apparently there are only two more little "diddies" on Then the fight started.

I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary? " It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said. So I suggested, "How about the kitchen?" And that's when the fight started....

My wife and I are watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?" "No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying "Yes." So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend." And that's when the fight started....

Stay warm and have a great day and hopefully a good laugh.

No go on supper recipe

So I am not going to share the recipe that we tried tonight...It wasn't that it was horrible, but did not receive rave reviews from the family either. It was edible, but then it was ok now what to do w/the leftovers about 4 bowls worth of soup? It was a chicken corn chowder but had some spices that our family doesn't use a lot. I feel bad because Brent is probably going to end up eating it for lunch!

However the z.muffins were AWESOME!( look at following post for recipe) I even went wild and tried something a little different. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup oil. I used 1/4 c. oil and 1/4 c. applesauce and cut the sugar to 1/2 c. instead of 3/4c. I also had a small amount of peanut butter chips left over and needed to use. So I mixed the pb and chocolate chips. (Owen isn't going to be happy when he goes to the pantry tomorrow and finds no orange bag!)I thought they tasted just as good if not better. I even made 20 mini muffins too. I know i cut some fat, but it doesn't do you any good when you eat 4, 5, 6 or maybe 7 mini muffins at a time.. I won't name any names! So far best batch yet!

Zucchini Chocolate Chip Muffins

I am trying to use some things in my freezer. This summer as I was shredding zucchini and bagging it to freeze I was thinking how awesome it would be to have this to use come winter...I better get to using it or I won't have room for any this summer. I know its only the end of January but you haven't seen my stash...anyway I am trying a new receipe for soup tonight and will share if its good, but I do have a recipe that I can share now because I have tried and tested this. I think they are very good. I know the title sounds like a wierd combo, but I love them and they freeze good too. I am making a double batch (or atleast my intent and might even try the mini muffin pan for a few!) I found this on all recipes. Give them a try if you have any frozen zuc's or need a feeling a little summer w/some fresh from the store. Thanks all recipes!
